The Federal Government has filed fresh terrorism charges against Nnamdi Kanu, detained leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.
The government on Monday increased the counts in the initial charge at the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja from seven to 15-count treasonable felony.
This development is coming, however, only a day to the scheduled commencement of hearing by trial Justice Binta Nyako.
The amended charge is marked FHC/ABJ/CR/383/2015, and signed by the Director of Public Prosecution, DPP, M.B. Abubakar.
