Over 280,000 MSMEs' Employees Benefiting from FG's Payroll Scheme

About 283,023 employees across the nation have benefited from the Federal Government’s Payroll Support Scheme.

The scheme is an initiative of the Buhari-led administration set-up under the MSME Survival Fund Project.

The payroll scheme is aimed at supporting small businesses to meet their payroll obligations in order to ease the economic effect of the Covid-19 pandemic.

According to the report published on the official Twitter handle of the MSME Survival Fund, N30,000 to N50,000 has been paid to 283,023 employees through the Payroll Support Scheme.

The scheme targets 500,000 beneficiaries to be paid for a period of 3 months.

Some beneficiaries have shared their testimonies as they trended the hashtag #IGotSurvivalFund on Twitter with their testimonies.

The CEO of Oluwalomoose Construction Services Nigeria Limited testifies that:

“#IGotSurvivalFund Good day sir; My company Oluwa lomoose construction services Nigeria limited is also a beneficiary of #SurvivalFundNG. I applied on the 11th of December, 2020, 9 out of 10 my employees were interviewed on the 18th of December, 2020.”

Also, Chima testifies that:

“Message: #IGotSurvivalFund. BRIGHTSTARS MC. M.C BRIGHTSTARS INT’L N.P.S SCHOOL in Aboh Mbaise IMO STATE. ID No. yONpP9H. I am a beneficiary of Survival Fund. Thank you Federal Govt.”

Ibrahim Gado Umar also shared that:

“Message: #IGotSurvivalFund. IBRAHIM UMAR. SAUKI INTERNATIONAL NURSERY AND PRIMARY SCHOOL BIDA in Bida NIGER STATE. ID No. WLkcx3. I am a beneficiary of Survival Fund. Thank you Federal Govt.”
