Unknown gunmen attacked the former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Charles Soludo, killed 3 Policemen guarding him.
The incident happened on Wednesday at Soludo’s community, Isuofia, Aguata LGA, Anambra State during a meeting with the youths of the community.
The Commissioner for Public Utilities, Emeka Ezenwanne, was reportedly abducted by the gunmen.
Although, his whereabouts is unknown, but according to report from Daily Sun, the former governor of the apex bank is safe.
The Anambra State Commissioner of police, Sunday Kuryas, has confirmed the bloody incident on the ex-CBN boss who is an aspirant in the upcoming November 6th governorship election in the state.
