Popular comedienne, Adekola Adekanya, (Princess) has been asked to speak at The trial of Nollywood actor, James Olanrewaju Oniyinka (Baba Ijesha), today at the Lagos State High Court, Ikeja.
The comedienne had accused Baba Ijesha of sexually assaulting her foster daughter.
While speaking before the court, Princess narrated how she met Baba Ijesha.
She said they met at an event in 2008, and they decided to start making comedy skits together. She added that she turned down his love proposal in the process of their work together.
The comedienne also added that she moved closer to the actor after the crash of her marriage in 2013.
Baba Ijesha is facing trial for alleged sexual assault, indecent treatment of a girl child.

He was arrested in April and was granted 2 million naira bail by Judge Oluwatoyin Taiwo on June 24, 2021.
