American actor and director, Chadwick Boseman, has been awarded the best actor at the BET Awards 2021.
Chadwick who got global fame with his excellence portrayal of the role of T’Challa in the movie “Black Panther” died due to colon cancer on August 28, 2020.
Born in Anderson, South Carolina, U.S. on November 29, 1976. Chadwick studied directing at Howard University and began working as script writer, movie director and acting.
During his lifetime, he had a total of 109 award nominations and won 41 awards home and abroad. Some of the awards include:
Critics’ Choice Movie Awards, Golden Globe Awards, AACTA Awards and many more.
In recognition of his contributions to the movie industry globally, he was honoured with the posthumous award by BET Awards 2021.
