…lifts ban on Muslim Dominated countries’ immigrants
Sequel to his 17 Executive Orders, President Joe Biden has lifted the ban placed on Nigerian immigrants and several other countries.
The President during his first day in office gave the order which permits Nigerians to be able to apply for the US Resident Visa.

Biden’s predecessor, Donald Trump, had placed the ban on Nigerian immigrants on February, 2020.
The ban which affected Nigeria, Myanmar, Eritrea, Kyrgyzstan, Sudan, and Tanzania prevents immigrant from these countries to permanently stay in the US. Although, they could still visit the US to study or do other reasons.
In the same vein, Biden also lifted the systemic ban placed on immigrants of seven Muslim dominated countries; Iran, Libya, Somalia, Syria, Yemen, Venezuela, and North Korea.
