BREAKING: Court Fines Army 1bn, Orders FG To Apologise To Nnamdi Kanu

Justice Benson Anya of the Umuahia High Court as slammed a N1billion fine on the Federal Government of Nigeria and the Nigeria Army.

The fine is to be paid to the Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra Mazi Nnamdi Kanu for invading his house in September 2017.

Kanu is presently being prosecuted by the Federal Government over alleged treasonable felony, terrorism and other related offences.

The court also ruled that the government and the Army were apologise to Kanu for the violation of his Fundamental Rights.
