A Chief Magistrate Court sitting in Wuse, Zone 2, Abuja has granted the bail application of the leader of #RevolutionNow, Omoyele Sowore and 4 other co-activists.
Sowore was admitted to N20 million bail while other activists are to be bailed with the sum of N1 million each.

Along with the fine, Chief Magistrate Mabel Segun-Bello ordered that Sowore provides two sureties and also remain in Abuja to physically attend to court sittings pending the hearing against him.
Other activists are to provide one surety each.
TheNewsBeam had reported that Sowore and 4 others were arrested on the eve of New year for illegal association and have also been deprived of bail since last week. Court Denies Sowore, 4 others bail.
Commenting on his bail; Sowore shared that;
“They kept us inside mosquito-infested cells run by #SARS in Abuja, after that they sent us to Kuje prison and later another dingy cell police cell operated by the FCIID, today we’ve been granted bail on discriminatory and harsh conditions. #RevolutionNow #Nogoingback”
