A three-storey building has been gutted by fire in the Lawanson area of Lagos State today, January 1, 2022.
The fire is said to have emanated from an explosion of electrical appliances caused by high electricity voltage when power was restored.
The building is located on Coal street behind Anjorin street, Lawanson, Surulere.
Although no casualties as been confirmed, it was gathered that a number of properties worth millions of naira have been destroyed in the fire.
