The National Broadcasting Commission, NBC, has issued a broadcasting licence to the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC.

The NBC Director-General, Mallam Balarabe Ilela, handed over the operational licence documents to NYSC Director-General, Major General Shuaibu Ibrahim, in Abuja on Wednesday, February 9, 2022.

This indicates that NYSC can commence Direct Satellite Broadcasting (BSB), and Internet Protocol Television (IPTV).

The NBC boss also commended the progress of NYSC under the leadership of Ibrahim. He said, “The commission normally gives licence in trust and we believe this will be used for the purpose it is given. We are very proud to be part of your progress. With somebody like you, we are sure our licence is in safe hands”.
