President Muhammadu Buhari will be addressing a joint session of the Senate and House of Representatives on Thursday, December 10, 2020, over the current situation of security in the country.

This was announced by the Special Assistant to the President on social media, Laureta Onochie today, December 7, 2020 in a tweet on her official twitter account.

The message read, “President @MBuhari will address a joint session of the National Assembly (@nassnigeria) on Thursday, December 10, 2020.”

House of Representatives had last week summoned the President to explain the rising insecurity challenges in the country.

Recall that the Senate had also in a resolution urged the President to sack his service chiefs stating that their ideas were obsolete and so there’s a need for appointment of new security chiefs.
