President Muhammadu Buhari has implored foreign observers to verify all information before drawing their conclusions about the protests and civil unrest Nigeria is witnessing.
Buhari made this known in his address to Nigerians, today October 20, 2020.
“To our neighbours in particular, and members of the international community, many of whom have expressed concern about the ongoing development in Nigeria, we thank you and urge you all to seek to know all the facts available before taking a position or rushing to judgment and making hasty pronouncements”, he said.
Recall that, international observers called on the president to to put an end the incessant killings of #EndSARS protesters.
In the same vein, the president appealed to Nigerians to put a stop to the protest as their demands were already being considered.
