A bus conveying some prospective corps members (PCMs) to Katsina was reportedly involved in a fatal accident.
According to a report, the bus took off at Uyo on Tuesday evening for a night trip to Katsina. 4 (PCMs) died at the spot while seven have been rushed to the hospital.
At the time of gathering this report, the National Youth Service Corps has not confirmed the incident.
Pictures and video of the incident have been flying around social media. Due to the sensitivity of the pictures, they won’t be uploaded on our platforms.
PCMs are thereby urged to avoid late night trips, and also be selective of the transport service they use.
