The Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has maintained the benchmark interest rate (MPR) at 11.5%.
The CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele, made this known while reading the communique at the committee’s meeting on Tuesday, 23rd November 2021.

Emefiele further disclosed that all other monetary parameters are kept constant.
According to The MPC, some of the policies over the previous months are showing positive results evidently in the significant drop in headline inflation over the last six months, as well as, the 4.03% growth in real GDP.
