Despite being the hardest hit by COVID-19 in the country, Rio de Janeiro has approved 7,800 spectators to watch the Copa America Final match.
This is the largest number of spectators allowed in the tournament since the start of the program on June 11, 2021.
Argentina is scheduled to face Brazil in the Copa America Final at Maracana Stadium on Saturday.
The decision to allow the capacity was made after the officials presented the protocols of operation and accreditation that adopt measures to protect the health of those involved, using appropriate tools to prevent contagion and the propagation of Covid-19.
