Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has adjourned the case of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, till October 21, 2021.
This is due to the absence of the defendant.
According to Justice Binta, the court could not continue with the trial in the absence of Kanu.
Details about why he was absent to stand his trial has not been disclosed yet.
