The Magistrate court in Abuja has ordered the detention of Owoyele Sowore and four others at Kuje Prison.
The leader of the #RevolutionNow movement, Owoyele Sowore was arrested for leading a protest in Abuja on New Year eve.
They were arraigned to court today by the Federal Government for criminal conspiracy, unlawful assembly, and attempting to incite others.
They pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Reacting to the order, Sowore shares on his Twitter page that:
“We have been sent to The infamous Kuje Prison for the next 24 hours while they plot their next moves. But we are very resolute and convinced that this year will be different for the tyrant! #RevolutionNow”
