The Federal Ministry of Health has proposed to spend N400 billion to vaccinate 70% of Nigeria’s population against COVID-19.
According to NAN, the Minister of health, Dr Osagie Ehanire, presented the proposal to the National Assembly on Monday.

Osagie expressed that the vaccination would be preserved with the Cold Chain storage facilities used for storing and preserving the COVID-19 vaccines on its arrival in the country.
However, the Senate President, Ahmad Lawan was not convince with the presentation. He commented that:
“I have not been convinced with your presentation that we are ready to bring in the vaccines. You have to do much more tobcon once me that we are ready.
