COVID-19: See The Countries On Nigeria’s Travel Ban List

The Nigerian government has slammed travel restrictions on a number of countries in retaliation to being placed on their red list over spread of the new COVID-19 variant, Omicron concerns.

From Tuesday, December 14, 2021 airlines from these countries will be prohibited from coming into Nigeria.

The Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, announced on Sunday in Lagos.

The Minister said, “As they did to us, if they do not allow our citizens into their countries; who are they coming, as airlines, to pick from our country?”

“They are not supposed to come in. I am very sure in the next three days; Monday or Tuesday, all those countries will be put on the red list of COVID-19”, he added.

  1. Canada,
  2. The United Kingdom,
  3. Saudi Arabia,
  4. Argentina.
