Curfew Update: Lagos State Government has announced that all public and private schools are to remain shut till further notice.
This decision was made in other to restore peace into the state, and ensure that students are not exposed to danger.
In the same vein, the restriction hours in the State has been rescheduled to 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. daily. Workers are implored to go about their business during the hours of 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
It is to be recalled that Governor Babajide Sanwoolu announced a 24-hour curfew in the state on Tuesday, 20th October, 2020 due to the degeneration of the #EndSARS protest to crisis in the State. The curfew was eased on Saturday while movement was restricted from 6 p.m. to 8 a.m.
According to the statement, “Lagosians are enjoined to plan their journey times as they go about their lawful businesses” within the hours of 6 a.m. and 8 p.m.
