Now, the challenge is greater because of the rising prices of goods and services caused by the effect of covid-19, naira depreciation, forex shortage, among others.

Most worrisome to many parents is even the challenge of where they can get quality clothes at an affordable price.

To help parents overcome this challenge, TheNewsBeam visited the famous Lagos Island market and identified locations where you can buy quality children’s clothes at affordable prices at Lagos Island in Lagos State.

Here are some of the places:

1. Awesome Kids and Teens Place.

Located at Block C, Ground Floor, Oluwole Urban Market, Lagos Island, Lagos State.

The business owner is Mrs Philips and she has been in the business for 18 years.

She sells children’s clothes for ages around 0-4.

And the clothes are imported from India, Turkey, Bangladesh, China, and Vietnam.

She sells in bulk or wholesale and that makes the clothes cheaper. She sells mainly jeans, shirts and polos.

2. Wajokoo International

It is located at 38, Shitta Court, Balogun, Lagos Island, Lagos State.

Kelechi Obekwe runs the shop (as at the time of reporting). He has been in the business for 10 years.

He sells children’s clothes for ages around 1-4.

He imports children’s clothes from Vietnam, Pakistan, China, India and Bangladesh.

They sell in wholesales and that makes the clothes affordable. They mainly sell party wear for children.

3. PHILCONUFO International Limited.

It is located at shop FA71/FA72, Block C, First floor, Oluwole Urban Market, Lagos Island, Lagos State.

The business owner is Mr. Philips, who has been in the business for 28 years.

He sells children’s clothes for ages around 1-10.

He imports from India, Turkey, Bangladesh, China and Vietnam.

He sells wholesale and that makes the clothes affordable. He sells different types of wear for children asides suit.

4. Milk and Honey Outlet

It is located at Shop GA-57, Block C, Ground Floor, Oluwole Urban Mall, Lagos Island, Lagos State.

The business owner is Mr. Muyiwa, and he has been in the business for over 20 years.

He sells children’s clothes for ages around 1-5.

He imports from India, Bangladesh, Turkey, China and Vietnam.

He sells wholesale and that makes the clothes affordable. He sells different types of wear for children asides suit.

5. Chukwuebuka Global

It is located at shop FK15, Block C, first floor, Oluwole Urban Market, Lagos Island, Lagos State

The business owner is Ms. Ifeoma. She is into the business of children’s shoes. She has been in the business for a while.

She imports the shoes from China, the UK, and the US.

She sells wholesale and that makes the shoes affordable. She sells different footwear for children.

She sells children’s shoes for ages around 4-13.

NOTE: Oluwole Mall and Annie plaza are on Martins street beside Great Nigeria House. These Malls are home to dealers in children’s wear of different types.
