Nigerian aviation training school, Nigeria College of Aviation Technology (NCAT), has received three additional training aircraft from the federal government.
The Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, disclosed this on his Twitter handle today, November 25, 2020.
“Another batch of 3 training aircraft were received today for our training school in Zaria has just been received. Good training and proficiency is sure guarantee for safety. Thank you for the support”, he tweeted.
This training school located in Zaria, Kaduna State, had earlier received three training aircraft on Sunday.
Mr Sirika in a tweet said “training will now be more efficient, faster and cheaper”.
“There was no better aviation safety than having well trained, proficient aviators”, he added.
The Nigerian College of Aviation Technology, Zaria, (formerly known as Nigerian Civil Aviation Training Center) was set up by Act. No 31 of 1964 (as amended), to conduct:
- Civil Aviation courses for use in flight training or airport operations & management as may be prescribed from time to time.
- Training of approved persons in the installation, maintenance and operation, as the case may be, of technical equipment, the use of which is calculated or likely to increase the margin of operational safety of civil aircrafts.
- Training on equipments and necessary facilities for technical research or normal use.
