The Federal Government through the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) has clarified it stand on COVID-19 vaccine.
In a recent report by NPHCDA on its Twitter handle, the agency said; “COVID-19 vaccine is not compulsory but it is recommended by every eligible person (18 years and above) to be vaccinated.”

“It is strongly recommended that health workers get vaccinated as they are more exposed to the COVID-19 during the discharge of their daily duties. An unvaccinated health worker poses a risk to themselves, families, colleagues, and clients,” the agency added.
