Nigerian-New Zealand fighter, Israel Adesanya won Male Fighter of the Year and International Fighter of the Year Award at the 2020 World MMA Awards.
As disclosed on the official website of World MMA Awards, the award held on December 26th 2020 at The Aria Resort & Casino in The PokerGO Studio.
The UFC Middleweight champion, who now has a 20-0 career record, defended his title on two occasions in 2020, beating both Romero and Costa.
The Award, which would have been held in July was delayed till December due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
