Jilted 20-year-old Lady Hires Assassins to Kill Ex-lover

A 20-year-old lady Identified as Victory Kelechi Joseph, has been arrested for allegedly hiring asasins to kill her former lover in Lagos.

According to reports, alleged hired armed robbers in Military uniforms, invaded the house of Gabriel Uzoma (former lover of Kelechi) at Uwagboe Street, lpaja area of Lagos on Wednesday night.

Gabriel, who is a comedian and resides with his friends reportedly escaped assasination attempt, accusing Kelechi of sending them because he ended their relationship.

Stating the situation behind their breakup, Gabriel explained that after they broke up, Kelechi had pleaded to live with him because she did not want to live with her parents and her sister. But he refused because his friends were already living with him.

He said she also pleaded with him to give her a role in his comedy show, which he obliged. However, on the day the comedy show will take place, Kelechi was late and her role was given to another person to perform, which led to serious disagreement between them.

Following this disagreement is the attack launched in the apartment of Gabriel.

According to residents of the house, armed men reportedly invaded Gabriel’s apartment in Ipaja, but when he wasn’t found, they damaged the television, carted away two laptops, Canon camera including money belonging to Gabriel to the tune of N555,000.

Gabriel narrowly escaped the onslaught because he did not return home that day but his friends, found in his house identified as Emmanuel Eldon and Austine Alfred, were brutally attacked at gan point.

Kelechi, who was later trailed to her hideout and arrested by the police, reportedly admitted to engaging four armed men in uniform. She said after the operation she was given N20,000 out of the loot.
