A Federal High Court sitting in Anambra State has reinstated the candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Charles Soludo, who was recently removed to run for governorship election in the state by Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Recall that TheNewsBeam reported that INEC dropped Soludo, a former governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) for Micheal Umeoji, as the standard-bearer for APGA to run for the gubernatorial election in Anambra State on November 6
INEC Spokesperson, Festus Okoye disclosed this in a statement, noting that the commission also dropped the People’s Democratic Party’s candidate, Valentine Ozigbo, in respect to the rulings of the court.
