Katsina Kidnap: Boko haram releases footage showing abducted school boys

Terrorist group, Boko Haram has released a disturbing video showing boys believed to be some of the Katsina State abducted students.

Recall that The News Beam reported earlier that some students of Government Science Secondary School, Katsina State, were attacked and kidnaped last week.

The one-minute long newly released video made public by HumAngle shows the boys in tears, all covered in dust, appearing to be within a forest area, and pleading for help.

Meanwhile, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) Chairman, Abike Dabiri-Arewa, said the 333 boys had been rescued on Thursday. She disclosed this in a now deleted tweeted.

However, hours after Dabiri-Arewa made a u-turn on the statement hinting that her twitter account might have been hacked.

She tweeted: ” Pls don’t credit any post on katsina boys to my twitter handle. I lost control of my handle in the last couple of minutes, along with my Instagram. I have recovered and changed my password”
