The Lagos State Government has announced that the Third Mainland Bridge will be closed for 24 hours from Midnight, Friday, 26th to Midnight, Saturday, 27th February, 2021.
This was contained in a statement by the Lagos State Commissioner for Transportation, Dr Frederic Oladeinde.
According to him the total closure of the bridge is to allow the contractors move the equipments used during the rehabilitation of the bridge.
This is a final step to fully reopen the bridge for commuters.
Commuters plying the bridge are advised to use alternative routes.
