The Ogun State Government has declared a statewide restriction of movement on Saturday, July 24, 2021 ahead of the LG polls.
According to a statement by the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Alhaji Abdulwaheed Odushile, the restriction will take place from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
According to the state government, the restriction is aimed at helping the Ogun State Independent Electoral Commission (OGSIEC) conduct smooth and peaceful local government elections in the State.
Electorates however, can move to the polling units within their community to cast their votes for the candidate of their choice.
