The 2021 Total African Cup of Nations (AFCON) Qualifier ended with 23 teams making it to the next phase of the competition.
Benin Republic and Sierra Leone could not battle for the ticket due to the protest from the Benin Republic team about five of its players reportedly tested positive for COVID-19.
The 2021 AFCON games will be hosted by Cameroon. It is scheduled to take place in January-February 2022.

MALI: After 4 wins, 1 draw and a loss, the team qualified to the AFCON with 13 points.

GUINEA: The National Elephants of Guinea qualified to the AFCON games with 11 points after winning 3 matches, drawing 2 matches and losing a match.

BURKINA FASO: The Stallions ended the qualifiers game with 12 points after winning 3 matches and drawing 3 matches.

MALAWI: The Flames qualified to the AFCON with 10 points after winning 3 matches. Lost 2 matches and had a draw.

GHANA: Ghana’s Black Stars shined to te AFCON games with 13 points after successfully winning 4 matches and losing 1 match and 1 draw.

SUDAN: The Nile Crocodiles consumed 12 points with 4 wins and 2 loses.

GAMBIA: The Scorpions of Gambia have sting its oppositions to qualify with 10 points, 3 wins, 1 draw and 2 loses for the AFCON games.

GABON: The Black Panthers has also soared to the next phase of the competition with 10 points, 3 wins, 1 draw and 2 loses.

MOROCCO: Morocco qualifies with 14 points, 4 wins and 2 draws.

MAURITANIA: Made 9 points at the end of the qualifiers game after earning 2 wins, 3 draws and 1 lose.

CAMEROON (HOST): The Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon had 11 points after earning 3 wins, 2 draws and 1 lose at the close of the qualifier phase.

CAPE VERDE: Made 10 points, 2 wins and 4 draws.

EGYPT: The most successful team in the history of the competition also got the AFCON ticket. The team earned 12 points, 3 wins and 3 draws.

COMOROS: The Coelacanths sealed it qualification to the competition with 9 points, 2 wins, 3 draws and 1 lose.

ALGERIA: The defending Champion, Algeria, also joined the train to Cameroon in 2022 as it made 14 points, 4 wins and 2 draws.

ZIMBABWE: The warriors of Zimbabwe also fought its way to the AFCON with 8 points as it made 2 wins, draws and loses respectively.

SENEGAL: The Lions of Teranga made 14 points, 4 wins and 2 draws.

GUINEA-BISSAU: The team made 9 points, 3 wins and 3 loses at the end of the qualifiers phase.

TUNISIA: Tunisia’s Eagles of Carthage made the highest point at the end of the qualifiers phase. The team made 16 points, won 5 matches and had a draw.

EQUATORIAL GUINEA: Earned 9 points, 3 wins and 3 loses to grab the AFCON ticket.

IVORY COAST: Qualified to the AFCON with 13 points, 4 wins, 1 draw and a lose.

ETHIOPIA: The Ethiopian team made 9 points after winning 3 matches and losing 3 matches.

NIGERIA: The Super Eagles of Nigeria soared to the AFCON after earning 14 points, 4 wins and 2 draws.
