President Muhammad Buhari has appointed Professor Ibrahim Dantani Wushishi as the new Registrar and Chief Executive Officer of the National Examination Council (NECO).
This was contained in a statement signed by the Head Public Relations and Information, Azeez Sani.
Ibrahim is the first Niger State indigene to be appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the Council.
Ibrahim Wushishi was born in Wushishi Local government of Niger State on April 5, 1965.
According to the statement, Ibrahim is to replace Professor Godswill Obioma who died about two months ago.
Until his appointment, Ibrahim was a lecturer at the Faculty of Education in Usman Danfodio University, Sokoto before he was transferred to the Federal University of Technology, Minna.
He served in different positions which include: Post Graduate Coordinator, Department of Science Education, Federal University of Technology, Minna; Sub-Dean School of Science and Science Education, FUT, Minna; Head of Department, Department of Science Education, FUT Minna; Head of Department, Department of Science Education, Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai.
