COVID-19 vaccines from Moderna and Pfizer are now available at Lagos state’s designated public and private vaccination centers.
Prof. Akin Abayomi, the Commissioner for Health announced this in an Instagram post attaching the National Primary Healthcare Board’s receipt of a new batch of vaccines.

There had been complaints by Lagosians over the scarcity of the Moderna vaccine at vaccination centres.
Abayomi who had earlier confirmed the unavailability of the vaccine has now urged residents to proceed to centers to get vaccinated at designated public and private vaccination centers.
“All eligible Lagos residents are urged to proceed to designated public and private vaccination centres to be vaccinated accordingly. Booster doses are also available in all designated public and private Vaccinaton Centres across the state”, he said.
