NECO Begins Registration for 2021 National Common Entrance Examination

Registration Closes May 29, 2021

National Examinations Council (NECO) has announced the commencement of the registration for the 2021 National Common Entrance Examination (NCEE) into JSS1 of Federal Unity colleges.

The announcement was made in a statement by the Registrar, Professor Godswill Obioma at NECO headquarters, Minna, Niger State.

According to the statement, application for the examination shall be by online registration and can only be done on the organisation’s website.

The registrar has also warned that only final year pupils of primary schools who shall not be less than 10 years by September 2021 are eligible for the examination.

The registration fee for the 2021 NCEE is Two Thousand Five Hundred (N2,500.00) Naira only, per candidate. Which shall be paid into the NECO TSA using debit card, bank branch, USSD, internet banking, and wallet payment options.

The registration period is from Wednesday 24th March, 2021 to Saturday 29th May, 2021. The website will be closed by 8:00am on Saturday 29th May, 2021.

Applicants are to note that:

  • Payment for the National Common Entrance Examination is done on the NECO portal, as outlined above.
  • Change of Name, Date of Birth and/or State of Origin will not be entertained after registering a candidate online.
  • Qualified candidates that chose oversubscribed Colleges are liable to be placed at any available alternative College, according to the carrying capacities of the Federal Unity Colleges.
