Nigeria’s cases of COVID-19 has hit an all-time high with 2,123 infections on Tuesday, December 21, 2021.
This is the highest daily infections the country has ever recorded since the outbreak of the virus in February 2020.
According to data by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), the new figure is 755 cases higher than that of the previous day when 1,368 cases were recorded.
Four deaths were also recorded taking the death toll to 2,989 from 2,985.
