The Federal Government through the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) has began the vaccination of Nigerians against the deadly COVID-19.
The agency shared on its official Twitter handle, the names and images of the first set of health care workers to receive the AstraZeneca vaccine in Nigeria.
The first set of Nigerians, who are frontline health workers, are Dr. Ngong Cyprian, Nurse Faith E. Eragbai, Dr. Nuru Joseph and Dr. Thairu Yunusa.
“Meet the first set of health care workers to receive the AstraZeneca vaccine in Nigeria — Dr. Ngong Cyprian, Nurse Faith E. Eragbai, Dr. Nuru Joseph and Dr. Thairu Yunusa. Thank you for working tirelessly to protect us all.”
