Premier League has named Nigeria’s Kelechi Iheanacho as the Player of the Month of March for his wonderful performance in the month.

The Leicester City forward, scored 5 goals in 3 matches including a hat-trick against Sheffield United in the March.

This makes him the fourth Nigerian player to receive the award after Jay-Jay Okocha, Peter Odemwingie and Odion Ighalo.

Some Nigerians on social media have been celebrating and extending a congratulatory messages to him.

In other news, Chelsea’s manager, Thomas Tuchel, was named by Premier League as the Manager of the Month of March.

The Blues manager maintained an unbeaten for beating Everton and Liverpool and goalless draw at Leeds.
