Nigerians Drag Remi Tinubu For Calling Woman 'Thug'

Nigerians on Twitter dragged Senator Oluremi Tinubu, senator representing Lagos Central Senatorial Constituency, for calling a woman a thug at the constitutional review hearing in Lagos.

The wife of the APC Chieftain, Bola Ahmed Tinubu was leading the Senate Committee on the Review of the 1999 Constitution in South West was reportedly involved in a shouting match with some Nigerians at the venue.

Some of the Twitter users have wished that she never become the first lady of the country.

@theonly1acre said: “Tell me one time Remi Tinubu has ever been in the news for anything worthy? It’s either she’s fighting, blackmailing or threatening citizens. That’s Nigeria’s First Lady that never was. Agbero Senator, Fake Pastor. Gees!!!! Aunty, you are just as razz as you come. LEEMAO!!!”

@firstladyship said: “Patience Jonathan was compassionate. Even as she was being mocked, she remained A MOTHER. Aisha Buhari is selfish, but she is not a rascal. Remi Tinubu has not only shown her rascality many times, she has shown her bigotry as well. Remi is not fit for the office of a First Lady.”

@Victorisreal_ said: “Remi Tinubu can never be the First Lady of Nigeria. Imagine calling a fellow woman a thug while her Husband Garnered power, monopolised businesses in Lagos and ripped transport workers & market women off their money through thuggery. We are waiting for them in 2023! Shame!”

@aiyemojubar said: I’ll say this again, Remi Tinubu, the matriarch of the Lagos thug will never be a first lady in Nigeria.”

@UwemedimoOwo said “Last I checked she is still an ordained pastor. Na person wey ordain am I want to know.”

@SodiqTade said: “Remi Tinubu is too loud, arrogant and controversial for someone that is likely to be the next first lady.”

“I wonder when our future First Lady, Remi Tinubu will be in the news for the right reasons. No class whatsoever,” @Morris_Monye said.
