Nigerians have revisited the story of the former Minister for petroleum, Diezani Alison Madueke as picture of her cousin’s son protesting against Buhari on the street of UK surfaces.
The inscription on the young boy’s placard says that Buhari is wicked for depriving children in Nigeria of basic healthcare service and food.
“CHILDREN OF MY AGE ARE DYING OF HUNGER, ZERO & NO HEALTHCARE. FEED THEM, FLY THEM TO LONDON FOR TREATMENT. BUHARI YOU ARE WICKED”
His demonstration was greeted by enormous reactions from Nigerians who narrate how Diezani Allison Maduekwe had scurried away to the UK after several corruption cases were levelled against her.
@ValiantNig wrote: “Diezani’s cousin put out his son on a London street with a ‘protest sign’ calling Buhari wicked! The same Diezani who made sure there was no 2nd Niger Bridge, railways, roads, electricity, water, hospitals, bridges, & all infrastructure needed to make life meaningful! I hate the PDP criminal organization with intense passion!
@Mohnice tweeted “Diezani’s cousin put up his son’s picture to dehumanize the Government. The same Diezani that ran away immediately GEJ lost. Same Diezani that stole nigerian state dry in the last administration. The wailing department is indeed a home of criminals, thieves, miscreants, terrorists & the likes.”

Meanwhile, some Nigerians have seen the discourse on Allison Maduekwe’s nephew as a misplaced priority. According to @AkporCharles, Nigerians ihave shifted their attention from the protest against Buhari’s government.
“Buhari is in the UK for a medical vacation while our doctors are on strike… Nigerians in the UK are protesting the neglect on our healthcare system… But somehow we are making this about Diezani Alison-Madueke sister’s-father’s-Aunty’s-grandson. SMH”
