The Publisher of Sahara Reporters and human right activist, Owoyele Sowore, and others who were arrested during a protest at the Federal High Court, Abuja have been released.
Recall that TheNewsBeam reported that Sowore was arrested during a Facebook Live session at the trial of Nnamdi Kanu on Monday, 26th July 2021.
He was arrested for stagging a protest in solidarity with the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, who was supposed to undergo trial today, but was adjourned due to failure of the DSS to produce Kanu at the Court.
A few hours after Sowore and other protesters were arrested, they announced their release.
