Wale Sowemimo said: “The nomination of this very woman, a well known vocal PA of MR PRESIDENT, as an INEC COMMISSIONER sums up everything about the charade called integrity of President Buhari! The fact that the president is going to force through this nauseating exercise (considering the rubber stamp nature of the national assembly) makes it all the more horrible! Never should any supporter of ELDER BUBU attach anything called INTEGRITY to the lists of fading adjectives they often deploy to praise-sing a recklessly ethnocentric, old ASO ROCK landlord! PMB has no such thing called integrity in his wardrobe!”
Oluwasegun Ayo said: “How can you screen a card carrying party member for a sensitive position like that of INEC commissioner? This is madness. This is against electoral law anywhere, she will definitely favour her party. Who has done this to our parliamentarians”
Don Pallisy said: “Is our national assembly under voodoo spell that they cannot say no* to at least one of Buhari’s destructive selfish requests? This is really terrible, the situation we find ourselves in.”
Olaoluwa Ige Holla said: “And they will collect a sitting allowance for that nonsense they are doing today.. Screening of Lauretta is a total waste of time and national resources…”
Olabisi Alo Ojengbede also said: “She doesn’t need any screening, as long as she’s nominated by the president. Rubber stamp senators.”
