A petrol tanker has exploded around Tunji Alegi Filling Station at Kwakyama part of Ogere, Ogun State.
Confirming the incident in a statement, the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) disclosed that the resultant fire outbreak razed a total of five vehicles.
The Public Education Officer for Ogun FRSC Sector Command, Florence Okpe, also said: “The spill has affected some other vehicles parked at the hard shoulder of the road.”

Asides from the FRSC operatives directing traffic on site, Okpe further disclosed that firefighters and the police from the Gateway Police Station, Ogere have also been contacted to control the situation.
“Motorists are advised to remain calm and cooperate with traffic managers,” she pleaded.
