See what Yomi Fabiyi Said as CCTV Reveals Baba Ijesha Molesting Minor
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

“This is clearly a setup and it is criminal to set anybody up let alone use a minor, second time trauma! Damn!”

Yomi Fabiyi has reacted to the leaked footage of James Olanrewaju, Baba Ijesha, molesting a 14 year old girl.

Yomi Fabiyi, who has been faced with lots of criticisms for his divergent and controversial view about the saga has eventually condemned the act in strong terms.

He didn’t stop at condemning the tormentor, he also lashed out at those who used the victim as bait without considering her emotional and psychological health.

He called on the Lagos State Police Force, the Lagos State Government and all authorities involved in the case to arrest the adults who set the trap using a minor as bait.

In his words; Yomi said: “All the adults in that CCTV footage will most definitely spend far more time in prison than Baba Ijesha.

“This is clearly a setup and it is criminal to set anybody up let alone use a minor, second time trauma! Damn!

“However, no excuse for Baba Ijesha to fall. He would have escaped prison if the victim was an adult. The minor made him liable.

“The Police CP must balance and know that Embassies and Organisations are watching.”

“It is disturbing and unfortunate viewing the images of the released CCTV footage of a minor being sexually abused by a senior colleague. There is no excuse for this act. I condemn it. It is embarrassing and disappointing.

“I have carefully waited for reliable options before jumping to a conclusion, as done in a civilized society, a stance a handful misconstrued as supporting the suspect.

“The only person free from arrest and prosecution is the young lady. Several red lines were crossed, ignorance is never an excuse. The key question every honest person should be asking is if the girl was your child, can you make her go through such trauma again in the name of gathering evidence. Where are the social services and domestic violence units in Lagos State? Shelve press releases and sentiments, swing into action.

In another post on his Instagram page, Yomi threatened to lead a protest should the Police fail to arrest all the adults involved in the setup.

“If there is no arrest of all adults involved after 7 Working Days by the Lagos CP, we will peacefully protest in Alausa and all parts of Lagos, we will demand the sack of the head of social services in the relevant ministry. It means they don’t understand the job, they can’t be wasting taxpayers money. We will fight for every innocent child they have similarly ignored. Do this for humanity.

They better do the right thing now. This protest is for every innocent child. We owe them this. Use your youth well. This I am ready to follow through.”
