A video of Yele Sowore being rushed to an undisclosed hospital has surfaced online.
According to reports gathered, the human right activist and former presidential candidate shot a teargas by a police officer.
According to a report from one of his lawyers, Inibehe Effiong, he identified the shooter as a female police officer, CSP Atine.
“The officer fired a teargas canister directly at his right thigh. Sowore was specifically targeted.”
Sowore was shot at the Unity Fountain in Abuja during a protest on Monday morning.
