At the end of Tokyo Olympics 2020, Nigeria has finished with 74th position and eighth best among the 54 African nations at the Games.
Recall that TheNewsBeam reported that Tokyo 2020 Olympics commenced with an opening ceremony on the 23rd of July 2021 with over 11,000 athletes across 206 countries participating in the 33 sports which held in Tokyo, Japan and ended on Sunday, 8th of August, 2021.
The Games had 93 of the 206 participating teams making it to the medals table.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Team Nigeria won two medals comprising one silver and one bronze, after being represented by 55 athletes.
