Nigeria has finished 12th in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics Shotput final on Thursday morning, August 5.
Chukwuebuka Enekwechi who represented Nigeria, fouled in his opening throw, throwing 18.87m on his 2nd attempt and 19.74m in his third attempt.
Enekwechi’s throw of 19.74m was too poor to Grant him a spot in the medals table attempt.
The Shotput gold medal went to Ryan Crouser of the United States, Joe Kovacs also of the United States won silver, while the bronze went to Tom Walsh of New Zealand.
