Villarreal’s midfielder, Manu Trigueros, has spoken about his teammates’ willingness to hurt Manchester United at the UEL Final today.
In an interview with news men, the Spanish footballer said the game is a very important match for Villarreal CF.
“It’s a very special game for us because of all that we’ve experienced in this club. For everything that this final means for our fans and because of the club’s history. For a lot of us, it’s also the most important game of our professional careers. I’m sure that it will be a very special match for all of us.”
“In an open game, we have a lot to lose. We will try to take the game to our strengths. Have the ball, be positioned well and stick together. All of us know our team-mates very well. From our philosophy, we will try and hurt Manchester United,” he added.
