The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) has kicked against the National Assembly for approving N4.87 billion for the unlawful surveillance of citizens’ calls.
In a post sent on its social media platform, SERAP said the “National Assembly ha. reportedly approved N4.87bn for the National Intelligence Agency to track, intercept, monitor calls and messages on mobile devices like WhatsApp.”
The group has also promised to challenge the project.
