Who Set Sunday Igboho's House Ablaze?

In the early hours of Tuesday, the news came in that Sunday Igboho’s House was set ablaze by suspected arsonist.

The controversial Yoruba activist has been making the news since he announced a 7-day ultimatum for the Fulani herders residing in Ibarapa, Oyo State.

On the expiration of the ultimatum, the renowned warrior, his followers and a crowd stormed Ibarapa to chased out all the Fulani herders residing in the city.

As expected, the news generated wide, mixed reactions and criticisms. And the state and federal government vehemently frowned at these act.

The news of Sunday Igboho’s House set ablazed came in what looks like a retaliation or a strategy to incite the Yoruba tribe against the Fulani tribe.

This news has generated array of reactions from Nigerians, as they look for the arsonist.

Is this a Retaliation?

Among the reactions that followed the news, some have suspected that the fire outbreak could be a retaliation by the Fulani herders.

“You burned Seriki Fulani’s house and your house also got burnt… That’s 1-1”

@jokuocha was also of the view that the herdsmen and the Nigerian Government are to be held responsible, he commented that:

“Fulani herdsmen and the Nigerian Government did it! Cowards they are…”

Could this be Sunday Igboho’s Strategy?

Some persons are of the believe that Sunday Igboho burnt down his house in order to incite the anger of the Yoruba tribe.

@umarusuleiman reacted that Sunday Igboho burnt his house himself, he shared that:

“You burnt your house. Be mindful of the consequences of your action. If the country goes into flame, it’s not only Fulani that will suffer.”

@Godwin_vince1 shared that “I am not surprised, you burnt it yourself to even the situation.”
