Sunday Igboho’s cleric, Imam Idris Oladejo, has revealed to newsmen why Sunday Igboho has not disappeared from captivity.
Despite the supernatural powers he has, the Yoruba Nation agitator has chosen to remain in the Benin Republic custody.
In an interview with TheCable monitored by TheNewsBeam, Igboho’s cleric said he had refused to disappear from custody because he doesn’t want to complicate issues for his wife and the Yoruba Nation at large.
He said: “Sunday Igboho believes in Allah and he hates cheating, especially cheating the Yoruba Nation. He has those powers and they are from Allah.
“He can’t disappear here because he doesn’t want any problem for his wife, Oodua nation, Yoruba Nation. He hates problems, he’s a good man and that’s why I love him.”
“I pray, I tell my Allah, I tell my God and Almighty Allah can never disappoint me. Sunday Igboho will not be taken back to Nigeria,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Nigerian Government is bent on getting Igboho back to Nigeria to be tried.
The extradition hearing is held behind closed doors at a Benin Court in Cotonou.
