To some couples, the goal of having sex asides the bond it brings is pregnancy. Does this mean after hitting the goal, sex would go on break?

No! It should not!

Sex during pregnancy is another sensational adventure for the partners. You are doing that thing in the presence of your unborn child, do you know if it’s healthy for the foetus?

Okay, let’s quickly answer that. The foetus is being shielded by the amniotic sac. So be rest assured, the heat going on under you will not disturb your unborn baby. 

Now let’s talk about some of the health benefits of having sex during pregnancy.

Pain Relief: Pregnancy-related pains such as backaches, hip pain, leg cramps and many more can be relieved with the pain tolerant hormone – oxytocin – the hormone released during orgasms by a lady.

Improves Sleep: The relaxation that accompanies orgasms helps to improve sleep.

Boosts Mood: Pregnancy-related pains may change your mood. Even if you are really joyful about your pregnancy, the pains you feel may change your may make you feel sad. Sex could help boost your mood due to the release of the feel-good hormone.
